Join Teacher coaches Josh Vine and Amanda Peet as they unpack the "You Do" phase of the I Do, We Do, You Do protocol developed by Hollingsworth & Ybarra. The "You Do" is the opportunity for students to practise and master the knowledge and skills that the teacher has taught in the previous phases (I Do & We Do). It's the phase where extension and remediation work is also highly beneficial. A great lesson will provide students with ample "You Do" time where they can feel a sense of personal accomplishment and success because they have been taught using the gradual release method of I Do, We Do, You Do.
